2. Data We Collect
a) Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, country, and preferred currency. This information is necessary to operate your account.
b) Financial Records
You may enter income, expenses, loans, savings goals, and card information. This data is stored securely and is used exclusively to provide Finiverse's features to you.
c) Emotional Check-ins
Finiverse allows you to record your emotional state (mood/energy level) alongside financial entries. This data is used to generate personalized insights about your emotion-spending patterns and is never shared with third parties.
d) Conversations with Sam AI
Messages you send to Sam are processed to generate responses. Conversations are stored so Sam can reference your history and provide continuity. Your financial context is used to give relevant answers.
e) Usage & Device Data
We may collect basic device information and anonymous usage data to improve the app. This data does not include personally identifiable information.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To operate and provide the Finiverse app and its features
- To power Sam AI responses with your financial context
- To generate emotion × finance analysis and insights
- To track your progress, levels, and achievements in the gamification system
- To send app notifications and updates (only with your permission)
- To improve the app's features and user experience
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which provides enterprise-grade security, encryption at rest, and secure transmission over HTTPS/TLS.
We do not store your financial data on our own servers, it remains in your Firebase account, isolated from other users.
5. AI Processing (Sam)
Sam is powered by AI language models via a third-party API. Your message and relevant financial context may be sent to this API to generate responses. The AI provider does not retain your data beyond the processing of the request.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data is yours.
The only data shared with third parties is what is required to operate the service.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your financial records from within the app
- Opt out of non-essential communications
