1. The Service

Finiverse is a personal finance and emotional wellness app available on iOS, operated by Finiverse LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 17440736, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. The app offers features including financial record tracking, emotional check-ins, AI-powered assistance through Sam, analytics, and gamification.

2. Accounts

To use Finiverse, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

3. Subscription Plans

Free Plan

Finiverse offers a free tier that includes core financial tracking, unlimited income and expense recording, 5 mood check-ins per month, goals tracking, and the full gamification system. Sam AI is not included in the free plan; it requires a paid subscription. No payment is required to use the free plan.

Early Bird Plan

The Early Bird plan unlocks unlimited mood check-ins, ML-powered recommendations, priority support, and 30 Sam AI chats per month. Available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

Premium Plan

The Premium plan includes everything in Early Bird plus 100 Sam AI chats per month, multiple currencies, PDF export, and the SOS button. Available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

Sam AI Plan

The Sam AI plan unlocks everything in Premium plus unlimited Sam AI conversations, personalized context, financial simulations, and early access to new features. This is our highest tier, managed through Apple's App Store.

Free Trial

Finiverse may offer a one-time, 7-day free trial of the Sam AI plan. No payment method is required to start the trial, and it can only be used once per account. At the end of the 7-day period, your access automatically reverts to the Free plan, you will not be charged. To keep Sam AI access after the trial, you must purchase a paid subscription through the App Store.

Billing & Cancellation

All paid plans (Early Bird, Premium, and Sam AI) bill through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage in your Apple ID settings.

4. Sam AI, Important Disclaimer

Sam is an AI assistant for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

Always consult a qualified financial professional before making significant financial decisions.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Finiverse. By using the app, you grant Finiverse a limited license to process and store this data solely to provide you the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter.

6. Bank Account Connection (Optional Feature)

Bank sync is an optional feature currently in development. This section will apply when you choose to enable it.

6.1 Consent and authorisation

Connecting a bank account is entirely optional and requires your explicit action in the app. By choosing to connect an account, you: (a) authorise Finiverse and Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid") to access your financial institution data in read-only mode on your behalf; (b) agree to Plaid's End User Terms of Service, available at plaid.com/legal; and (c) confirm that you are authorised to grant access to the account(s) you connect.

6.2 Read-only access

Finiverse and Plaid access your accounts in read-only mode only. Neither Finiverse nor Plaid will initiate, authorise, or process payments, transfers, or any transactions on your behalf.

6.3 Revoking access

You may disconnect any linked bank account at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts. Revoking access stops Finiverse and Plaid from retrieving new data from that institution. Previously imported transactions already in your Finiverse account remain until you delete your account or manually remove them.

6.4 Accuracy of bank data

Bank data is retrieved from your financial institution via Plaid. Finiverse is not responsible for errors, delays, or inaccuracies in data provided by your financial institution or by Plaid. Always verify critical financial information directly with your bank.

6.5 Plaid's terms

Your use of the bank connection feature is subject to Plaid's own terms and conditions. Finiverse is not responsible for Plaid's services, data handling, or availability. For questions about Plaid's data practices, see plaid.com/legal.

7. Finiverse's Intellectual Property

References to “Finiverse” and “Finiverse LTD” in these Terms refer specifically to the personal finance app available at finiverseapp.com and on the iOS App Store under Apple ID 6648789225, and to its developer. These Terms make no claim about, and do not apply to, any other unrelated company, app, or organization that may use the same or a similar name.

The specific name “Finiverse,” the Sam character, our logo, source code, app design, written content, and the statistical methodology behind our emotion-spending analysis, as implemented in this specific app, are the property of Finiverse LTD and protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Using the app gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use it, not a license to copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from it.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on Finiverse without permission, or that someone is infringing on this specific app's intellectual property, contact us at hello@finiverseapp.com.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use Finiverse for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Misrepresent your identity when creating an account

9. Availability & Changes

We strive to keep Finiverse available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features at any time with reasonable notice for significant changes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finiverse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including financial loss, arising from your use of the app.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles. By using Finiverse, you agree to first resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at hello@finiverseapp.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be submitted to the competent courts of England and Wales.
