📱 App Basics

Tap the purple + button at the bottom of the screen and choose 'Expense'. Enter the amount, select a category (Food, Transport, Services, etc.), and optionally add how you're feeling. Sam uses your emotional data to build personalized insights over time.
Yes. Open any record from the Records tab and tap Edit to change the amount, category, date, description, or your emotional note. No data is ever locked.
A daily log where you record your mood, focus level, energy, stress, and sleep (automatically synced from Apple Watch, or entered manually). Sam links these emotional signals with your spending patterns, for example, detecting that you tend to spend more when you're anxious or under-slept.
No · Finiverse is intentionally manual. You enter your records yourself, which keeps your banking credentials private and helps build the habit of mindful spending awareness. This is especially helpful for neurodivergent users who benefit from the act of recording.
Finiverse supports multiple currencies. You can set your primary currency in Settings, and multi-currency tracking is available on Premium and Sam AI plans.

🤖 Sam AI

Sam analyzes your spending, detects emotional spending patterns, and gives personalized suggestions based on your complete financial history and emotional data. Ask Sam anything, 'Did I overspend this month?', 'What's my biggest expense category?', 'Help me save $200 in 30 days', or even 'I'm feeling overwhelmed, where do I start?' Sam is powered by Claude AI (Anthropic) and never judges.
Sam requires an internet connection to generate AI responses. You can still record expenses, view your balance, and access analytics while offline, Sam just won't be available for chat.
Go to Settings → Sam → Response style. You can choose from: Brief (short and direct), Calm (gentle tone, designed for anxiety), Detailed (full analysis), or Motivating (upbeat and encouraging). You can switch anytime, even mid-conversation.
Sam's responses are for informational and reflective purposes only, not professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Sam helps you understand your own patterns and make more informed personal decisions. Always consult a qualified professional for significant financial decisions.

🛡️ Privacy & Security

Yes. Your data is linked only to your account and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising. It's stored securely using Google Firebase with enterprise-grade encryption (GDPR and SOC 2 compliant). We do not store your data on our own servers.
Yes. Enable biometric authentication in Settings → Security → Face ID / Touch ID. Your financial data stays locked behind Face ID until you authenticate.
Go to Settings → Security → Delete account. The process includes a confirmation step to protect against accidental deletion. All your data is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

💰 Plans & Billing

Yes · Finiverse is completely free to download and use. The Free plan includes unlimited expense and income recording, 5 mood check-ins per month, basic Sam AI access, goals tracking, and the full gamification system (XP, levels, seasonal events).
Monthly subscription prices (USD): Early Bird, $2.99/month · Premium, $9.99/month · Sam AI, $14.99/month. Annual plans are available at a discount of approximately 20%. Prices shown in your local currency in the App Store.
To change plans: go to Settings → My Plan inside the app. To cancel: go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Finiverse → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, you keep access until then.
Everything in Premium plus: unlimited Sam AI conversations, personalized financial context awareness, what-if simulations, early access to new features, 6+ animated avatars with voice, exclusive seasonal events, and the Sam Insider badge.
